The Hubbard Family

I had another great session with this fun family. I cant believe how big Daniel has gotten in the past few months- it has been great to watch this little guy grow up. Daniel was teething the day we did the shoot and had a cold too- but you cant tell at all by the pictures- because he worked it! I love being around Daniels parents too- Lynsey and James- they love their little one so much. It is just so fun to watch them love their little boy.

Ballroom Dancing with My Dad and Jennifer

That's right for those of you who don't know my dad (believe it or not) has been doing Ballroom dancing now for a little over a year. My mom ballroom dances with my dad too- but in these pictures my dad is dancing with his dance instructor Jennifer. Jennifer and my dad are doing a showcase this coming up weekend- (and don't worry my mom gave my dad permission to dance with another lady.) Jennifer has been doing lessons with my parents now for quite a while- and she is a great dancer, but also a really fun girl. Plus I loved taking pictures of that fabulous blue dress- it was just gorgeous.

I had a really great time taking pictures of them dancing- I still cant believe that my dad is dancing now- but he is actually really good- so I am one proud daughter.

Christmas Session with the Dougherty's

I had an amazing session yet again with Maureen, Curt and their newest addition Ava. Ava is two months old now- and she is such a cutie. Maureen says she has grown so much- but to me she just looks like a little peanut. Ava is now smiling- which is so fun- I love to watch Curt and Maureen with her because they are just totally in love with their new little girl.

When I arrived at their house I knew we were going to have fun (as always). Maureen had everyone dressed in Christmas colors- and had the tree up, the fire going and had Santa hats on the couch- I knew we were going to get some great "Christmas style" shots.

The last picture of all three of them inside their window was Maureen's idea and I love it.

Angela and Dj's Big Day!!!

A few weeks ago I had the great pleasure to shoot Angela and Dj's wedding! I say pleasure because Angela and DJ are such great people- they are fun, thoughtful and totally in love with each other. While getting ready for her wedding Angela spent most of her time helping everyone else get ready- she is such a servant to others. Angela and DJ's friends and family were amazing too- it was such a fun crowd to be part of!

Anyways here are just a few of my favs from their big day (I have a few funny stories to add along the way so look at the captions under the pictures)!!!

DJ has a really loud truck so when he was driving up Angela heard him coming and looked out the window- I thought it was really cute- she was so excited!!! (of course everyone made sure she didnt see him.)

The guys were hilarous they came up with this idea- I thought it was hilarous!!!

When DJ was "Supposed" to be taking off Angela's garter he instead pulled these huge granny panny's from under her dress it was hilarous. He then perceded to throw it at the guys- as you can see no one wanted them- the whole crowd was laughing- and Angela was a great sport about it too.
