Ballroom Dancing with My Dad and Jennifer

That's right for those of you who don't know my dad (believe it or not) has been doing Ballroom dancing now for a little over a year. My mom ballroom dances with my dad too- but in these pictures my dad is dancing with his dance instructor Jennifer. Jennifer and my dad are doing a showcase this coming up weekend- (and don't worry my mom gave my dad permission to dance with another lady.) Jennifer has been doing lessons with my parents now for quite a while- and she is a great dancer, but also a really fun girl. Plus I loved taking pictures of that fabulous blue dress- it was just gorgeous.

I had a really great time taking pictures of them dancing- I still cant believe that my dad is dancing now- but he is actually really good- so I am one proud daughter.

Krista and Brandons Rehearsal/Rehearsal Dinner

I had such a fun time at Krista and Brandon’s Rehearsal/ Rehearsal Dinner. First off they had everyone wear sports jerseys to the celebration- which was so fun (and gave me a reason to get out some of my Gator apparel). Next we headed to a really fun bowling alley (called Opps Alley in Pace) where they had set up a huge variety of food- pizza, wings, quesadillas- and of course sweet tea. It was like the perfect sports party. The bridal party hung out and played pool and chatted. Then everyone headed over to the lanes- and bowled. It was such a great idea- to celebrate their big day with their closest friends and family. I loved it!

I cant decide if I like this or not? What do you guys think? Please tell me your honest opinion- you will not hurt my feelings at all.
I am normally not a huge fan of the black and white pictures with one thing colored- but when Elise showed up in this fabulous red dress- I thought to myself- hmmmm this could work.

Please let me know what you guys think- I am in desperate need of some advice- on this one

Bon Voyage

Tomorrow morning (very early) I leave to go back to the U.S.A. YEAH I cant wait. I will be shooting a wedding for my friend Jo and her fiance Justin. I cant wait (oh yeah I already said that).
I will probably be without internet for a few days- so if you email me just be patient I will get back to you as soon as possible.

A great weekend

Hello to all I had a great couple of photo shoots this weekend. I did two newborn sessions this weekend- and they were a blast. I cant wait to get to editing them and get them posted for all to see. So keep checking- I hope to have them finished by the middle of this week.

My Everything

Meet my Husband Morgan he is not only the love of my life, he also is a huge part of my photography business. We always joke about all the hats he wears for my business- but to be honest there is no way I could be doing all of this without him. Morgan is my purchasing agent (he researches new lenses and bodies and finds out what would work best for me), he also is my accountant, my tax advisor, my travel agent, and my #1 Fan. Anytime I am freaking out about doing something for the first time he knows exactly what to say to calm my nerves. T Lohse photography would not be what it is today without my fabulous husband. Thanks for all you do Morgan!

On Vacation

We are leaving tomorrow so I will not be replying to any emails from Oct 9th to Oct 16th- we are heading to a tropical location to relax. And just layout on the beach I CANT WAIT!!! Talk to you all when we get back!
