Krista and Brandon's Wedding

I had the pleasure of shooting Brandon and Krista’s Big day a few weeks ago. The whole day was so centered on their love- it was just beautiful.
I normally do not cry at weddings- but I did twice on this day. While Krista was saying her vows to Brandon she got a little choked up and as soon as she started to cry for some reason I did too. But then I thought- “Hey you gotta cut this out- you can take pictures through teared up eyes.” I was able to get my emotions under control. But not for long, at the reception Krista started to dance with her dad (if I cry at weddings this is usually when) and here again the tears started flowing. Oh well.
Back to details about the day- their wedding was so elegant- but fun (which is so Krista). I loved all of their details, her dress was just stunning. They had a great band perform at the reception which was so fun- I honestly wanted to get out there and dance some too.
Krista and Brandon- I am so excited for the two of you- I know that God is going to do amazing things through your marriage. You both amaze me!

Haydens First Birthday

I had a great photo shoot last week- with Hayden and his great parents- Sherryll and Brian.

Hayden is having his first birthday this Saturday. So of course we had to get together and get a few photos of him for this special occasion. As soon as they walked up I knew it was going to be a great shoot- Hayden had the cutest shirt on- it was a fun button up shirt but had a graphic tie- printed on his shirt. It was adorable. Happy Birthday Hayden!

Krista and Brandons Rehearsal/Rehearsal Dinner

I had such a fun time at Krista and Brandon’s Rehearsal/ Rehearsal Dinner. First off they had everyone wear sports jerseys to the celebration- which was so fun (and gave me a reason to get out some of my Gator apparel). Next we headed to a really fun bowling alley (called Opps Alley in Pace) where they had set up a huge variety of food- pizza, wings, quesadillas- and of course sweet tea. It was like the perfect sports party. The bridal party hung out and played pool and chatted. Then everyone headed over to the lanes- and bowled. It was such a great idea- to celebrate their big day with their closest friends and family. I loved it!

Volcano at your wedding?

I cant wait to post more pictures of Krista and Brandon’s big day- but it will be a few more days until I can get them up.
Until then- here is a funny story I wanted to share with you from their wedding.
On Friday (they day before her wedding) Krista gets a call from the church saying that the foyer of the church has been double booked- and that the guests arriving at the wedding will be walking past a volcano (the church was to promote VBS). Not just a volcano on a table- but a volcano the size of a rather large Christmas Tree. Krista took this news amazingly and just laughed- not letting this unusual news ruin her day. So of course we had to take some pictures in front of the volcano- so here are just a few….

Jessica and Matt E-Session

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting Jessica and Matt’s Engagement session. I had such a great time getting to know both of them- they both are such great people. Jessica works at a local high school where she works with children with emotional and physical needs. It was amazing hearing her heart- God has truly placed a desire in her heart to serve these children. It was just so great to hear. Matt was also equally amazing- he is so head over heals for Jessica- it was so fun to hear him talk about her- I know that they will have an amazing life together.

Krista's Bridal Session

Yesterday I shot Krista and Brandons AMAZING wedding- It really was so them- I cant wait to show you the pictures of that- but for now here is the great pictures I took of Krista
As promised- here is the stunning Bridal pictures of Krista. I think the stars just aligned that day- everything was perfect. We went to some really dynamic locations, Krista looked gorgeous, and we had a blast- all ingredients that make great pictures. I am going to post a lot of them because there were just too many great ones to chose from. Krista is so cute- and is really comfortable in front of the camera- she is up for trying anything and makes it look good in the process. Anways- I think you guys get the picture- these pictures rock!
